•General introduction

Made from polyester resin and low molecular curing agent, normally called aging resistant powder coating. Normally used for coating of air conditioners, outdoor furnitures, park utensils, light poles, agricultural machines, etc.

•Product series

Standard type and low temperature curing type are available.

High gloss (over 80%), semi-gloss(50-80%),matt(20-50%),texture(below 20%) are available. Gloss also adjustable according to user¡¯s demand.

•Physical characteristics

S. G.: 1.2-1.7 (varies according to different color and gloss)

Particle size distribution: 100%<100um(adjustable according to special demand)

Leveling: 120-140

Curing conditions:  200¡æ(surface temp. of treated article) x 10 min.

•Coating film performance

•Advantages and disadvantages

1.        Good flow leveling of coating.

2.        Good coating performance on edges.

3.        Good adhesion, primer not needed.

4.        Excellent aging resistance¡ª the coating won¡¯t get blinding or discoloration after long time outdoor exposure.

5.        Good resistance to chemicals and solvents.

6.        Good mechanical characteristics, but not so good as Epoxy-Polyester Powder Coating.

7.        Has better resistance to yellowing than Epoxy-Polyester Powder Coating.

8.        Has a wide of color matching.

9.        There¡¯s no by products in curing. The coating is not easy to have bubbles or pinholes.
